Attorney General Morrisey Dissects SCOTUS’ Presidential Immunity Decision & Landmark Chevron Deference Case

On this episode, Amanda Head is joined by West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey to discuss the United States Supreme Court’s decision to overturn the decades-old Chevron doctrine. This move aims to limit the federal government’s ability to wield power through delegating rather than through Congressional legislation. Attorney General Morrisey offers his insights on the impactful West Virginia v. EPA decision, which he views as a precursor to this significant change by the high court.

Additionally, Head and Morrisey, who is also West Virginia’s Republican gubernatorial nominee, discuss the Supreme Court’s decision to side with President Trump on defining presidential immunity, granting him the same protections that previous presidents, such as Obama, Bush, and Clinton, have had. Nevertheless, General Morrisey says although the court “addressed some of the immediate issues,” when it comes to immunity, he believes, “there’s still a lot of ambiguity” with, “some further questioning down the road.”

On this episode of the podcast, Amanda Head is joined by Texas Congressman Troy Nehls to talk about the ongoing illegal immigration crisis and border security issues our nation faces under President Biden and Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas’ nonexistent leadership. All of these issues continue to occur while Biden’s latest round of executive actions fail to counteract the humanitarian and safety issues we’re seeing take place at the southern border and now within the interior of our country.

Furthermore, the Texas Congressman and Head discuss debate strategies that could help President Trump, specifically focusing on highlighting his ‘America First’ achievements and contrasting the woke policies his progressive successor has enacted over these last four years.

On this “Small Business Saturday” episode of the Furthermore video podcast, host Amanda Head is joined by the President and CEO of Panex, Jay Burr. Right now the oil and gas industry is at a crossroads, grappling with both formidable challenges and exciting opportunities. Key among these are the pressing needs for strategic partnerships, substantial investments, robust educational initiatives, and adherence to high ethical standards. Burr has been vocal about these issues, especially highlighting the potential job displacement and significant infrastructure development required as the political left tries to transition the world toward ‘green energy’ economies.

Additionally, Burr shared the unique journey of Panex, a family-owned business now spanning four generations and currently living through what he termed as their, “second life.” This historical perspective illustrates the resilience and adaptability of the company amidst an ever-changing industry landscape. Burr also highlighted how Panex has managed to thrive by continuously evolving its practices and embracing innovation. One of the distinguishing aspects of Panex, as Burr explained, is their specific data review, approach to oil extraction and their operational ethos that sets them apart in the industry. He elaborated on the technical processes involved in extracting oil from the Earth and underscored the company’s commitment to responsible and efficient practices.

Furthermore, Burr does not shy away from discussing the broader political and economic environment’s impact on his family-owned company. Burr was particularly critical of the push towards an all-electric future, asserting that such a shift is neither feasible nor beneficial in the immediate future. He also pointed out that, “we’re all in the oil and gas business, whether you want to be or not.” Throughout this episode Jay Burr offered a comprehensive look at the current state and future prospects of the oil and gas industry.

“Half My Sky” author talks about navigating autism, overcoming difficult obstacles as a parent & wife

On this episode of the podcast, host Amanda Head talks with mother, motivational speaker, and internet blogger Carrie Cariello. This best-selling Amazon author, which includes her latest book, “Half My Sky,” talks about her journey raising five amazing children, including her son Jack who has autism. Cariello delves into conversation about what she noticed with Jack that was different than with her first born and how when Jack was originally diagnosed at eighteen-months, autism wasn’t as widely discussed as it is today. Head asked about the support group or assistance that was made available to her and her family when he was diagnosed, as well as what education looked like for him.

Cariello talks about how puberty and autism don’t necessarily mix, but how her son did end up finishing his education despite the additional difficulties. What is important to recognize, which is discussed within Cariello’s latest book, “Half My Sky,” is how there are a lot of educational institutions that do not fit the profile and daily needs of a neurodiverse individual. However, after a thorough and lengthy search, Cariello found Jack a program that continues to help him develop personal and professional skills, like getting a dish-washing job at a local restaurant.

Listen to how Cariello defied what publishers originally asked her to write about and why she went on to self-publish this book which has sold thousands upon thousands of copies already. Furthermore, the title of her latest book is also very interesting and comes with a loving background — keep an ear out as you listen to hear how she came up with the title. Pastor Duane Sheriff: “There is a spirit of darkness over our country that has to be broken”

On this episode of the podcast, host Amanda Head talks with pastor and author, Duane Sheriff. During this conversation Pastor Duane Sheriff talks about his early aspirations of becoming a professional tennis player. However, the Lord had different plans for him as he ended up dropping out of college, marrying his wife, Sue and moving to Oklahoma to attend Rhema Bible College. Following his time at Rhema, they moved to Atoka, Oklahoma (OK) where he began Duane Sheriff Ministries.

Beginning in 1987 Pastor Duane became the Senior Lead Pastor at Victory Life Church in Durant, OK and since 2020 he’s passed the leadership of the church to his son and currently serves as a Senior Elder and one of the lead communicators. Pastor Duane Sheriff and his ministry has distributed nearly 60 million free messages worldwide through the last several decades, but he says his favorite message to teach is the new creation out of 2 Corinthians 5:17; the death of the old man and the resurrection of the new man.

He accredits his success in communication to spending one-on-one time with people. However, when he doesn’t agree with someone, he doesn’t reject or condemn them, rather, righteous judgement by man is simply God within us. But, as he stresses, it’s important to judge yourself before projecting judgement onto others around you.

Exclusive message within: “So many Christians are afraid they’re going to be rejected, that they go ahead and withhold the truth and you don’t have a right to do that as a Christian. You’re obligated by God to share the truth, just share it in love, meaning, ‘I care about you, even if you’re going to reject me, I’m not going to reject you.’” – Pastor Duane Sheriff

Pastor Sheriff has several amazing books that you can get on Amazon today, including Amanda’s favorite, “Counter Culture: Answering a Woke Culture with Love, Light, and Life.” Be sure to check out more of his life’s beautiful and faith-based work at PastorDuane.com

Saying the quiet part out loud on: Pride Month hypocrisy, Biden’s age and Trump’s new polling with Chrissy Clark

On this episode of the podcast, host Amanda Head is joined by Chrissy Clark, the creator of “Underreported Stories,” as they explore a range of compelling topics. They emphasize the importance of conservative participation in culture and media, dissect the controversies of Pride Month, and examine the increasing political polarization within the LGBTQ+ community.

Defying Lockdowns: NJ Gym Owner Ian Smith’s Latest Legal Victory, Community Support & Fight for Truth

On this “Small Business Saturday” episode of the Furthermore podcast, host Amanda Head is joined by fitness instructor, author, and Co-Owner of Summit Rejuvenation, Ian Smith. Head and the former gym owner of Atilis Gym in Bellmawr, New Jersey discuss how he and his business partner resisted against government restrictions during the pandemic. Smith and his co-owner made major headlines by keeping their gym doors open all throughout the pandemic — defying Democratic Governor Phil Murphy’s lockdown orders, and racking up daily fines of $15,000 or more. Smith shares his intense legal battles, which culminated in the recent clearing of all charges, and delves into his ongoing fight to invalidate court orders and seek justice for the penalties imposed.

Despite the challenges, Smith highlights the unwavering support the gym received from the community during this government goose-chase. Collectively, the gym’s GoFundMe raised over $500,000 from patriots across the country, and the gym continued to sell out of t-shirts which helped the co-owners reduce their financial strain from penalties imposed by the state.

Smith goes on to emphasize the importance of questioning government research, experts, or official business by encouraging listeners to conduct their own independent research and uncover the actual truth for themselves. Furthermore, Head and Smith discuss the critical role of community solidarity, standing up for personal beliefs, and resisting government overreach to safeguard individual rights and freedoms.

Keep an eye out because you may see Smith, who now resides in Florida, run for an elected position at the local level in the next election cycle.
